Hi Sokevin!

Use:

Close Excel (not absolutely necessary but advisable)
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional Options

You can change date settings by changing your country but probably
better to click on the Date Tab and change there.

Windows XP route is a little different but you should be able to
figure it out from the above. If not, post back.

Hi
try
Windows Control Panel - Regional Settings - Dates
and choose your date format

Hi Sokevin!

I forgot to add.

Don't forget to press "Apply" once you have made the changes. For some
strange reason they gave an OK button and that won't apply the changes
you make.

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Regional and Language Settings>Customize>Date

You may have to change the country setting also but have not played with that.
