How do I block

I recently installed XP Professional on this computer.
From the first boot I have been getting messages on my
desktop that I have to close one at a time when I am away
from my computer. Somtimes 8-10 before I can do any work.
They are headed Message Service. They have to do
with "instant weight loss", "someones web cam", on and
on. How do I block them?
