How do I block websites from installing spyware

R

Rick Ward

I am running IE6 and after viewing some websites I ran
adaware to remove any spyware or other hijack software.
Now the general tab is missing on internet options.

How can I block these ad/spyware objects from being
installed on my system. What security levels or other
options do I need to set????????

I am switching to another browser if I can't get this to
stop!!!!

This really is bad programming!!! to allow this kind of
stuff to happen with out a way to prevent it!!!!

Restore All Tabs under Internet Options

Download the reg file to the desktop and run it.
When asked "are you sure............" click yes

Hope Ad-Aware is the latest 6.181 version? SpyBot Search and Destroy is
also good to use.
