How do I auto caption *.jpg figures?

I am used to using Word 2003 at work. I have purchase Word 2007 for home
use. How do I auto caption *.jpg files in 2007? In 2003 you went to Insert,
References, Caption, Auto Caption then selected Microsoft Word Graphic (or
something like that).

To open the AutoCaption dialog box in Word 2007: Click References tab |
Insert Caption, and then click the AutoCaption button.

I didn't explain it correctly. I know how to open the auto caption box. I
want to automatically auto caption JPEG files. The only grpahic option that
I see in the auto caption selection box is "Bitmap". There is an option to
auto caption Microsoft Word Tables.

I know this is not the place to ask this, but I have no choice. I attempt to
start a new thread and nothing happens. All it does is close the drop down.
Help!!!!!
