How do I allow email links

Outlook 2007 Norton 360 Vista

When trying to access links in emails I receive a message saying "This
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator"... I am the system administrator
(its simply a home pc). I've read the posts referencing the same issue but
none of the suggestions work or the path to where they point does not exist.
I think the issue is with Outlook rather than Norton as emails viewed in
Hotmail has links switched on. Can anyone help please, copying and pasting
the addresses into Explorer is starting to annoy. Help needed - in layman's
terms. Cheers.

The issue is with not having your default browser being registered properly
in Windows.

Do you have firefox or other browser installed? If so, you need to make IE
default. After it is working you can set the other browser as default.

If IE is your only browser then a registry key is corrupt and you need to
import it from another computer or recreate it.

I've tried all of the options suggested in all of the documents and
restarted
the pc each time. I still cannot access links in Outlook. Any other
suggestions? I obvisouly could not access the link in the email advising
me
of a reply either and when I copied it into the address line the page was
blank.

Just tried that. Using the key downloaded from your computer. Still no joy.
