How do I adjust the horizontal ruler width in Outlook 2007?

I inadvertently hit the function button as i was cutting and pasting while
writing a message to send in Outlook and now my view of my screen within an
open Outlook message I am writing is shruken to about 1.5 inches to the left
side. I cannot get the ruler to expand across the entire open window.

Go to format text tab. click in the body of the message so that the
"zoom" option is click-able. Click Zoom and reset to the percentage of
your choice.
