How do I add the Formatted Text (RFT) feature in paste special?

I want to be able to copy a document and paste it using Formatted Text (RTF).
I don't have the RFT option on my pull down menu when I select Paste special.
How do I add it?

Hi Thomas

I'm not aware of any way to add or remove items from the list at Edit >
Paste Special.

The options that appear at Edit > Paste Special depend on the kind of
material that is in the clipboard. For example, if the clipboard contains a
picture, then Word offers you the options relating to a picture.

So you'll only see the RTF option if the clipboard contains material
appropriate to that format.

For example, if I type a word in a Word document, copy it and do Edit >
Paste Special, I see the RTF option. If I copy a chart in Excel and do Edit
Paste Special I don't see the RTF option.

Hope this helps.
