how do I add text on top of numbers in word

I am tring to put together a ticket I want the value to say $50 but i want it
it be faint in red. then i want to be able to write on top of it and write
COMP ontop of the $50 So that way you se the 50 but relize the tickets are
comped

Insert the $50 using Word Art - set it behind text and write over it.
