how do I add scroll bars to a Powerpoint presentation?

I'm creating a Powerpoint presentation, and I was wondering if it is possible
to add scrollbars to a slide presentation.

Can you describe why you would want this, since PowerPoint is designed to
present on full screen slide at a time?
