How do I add music to an entire PowerPoint '97 presentation?

I'm working on a presentation for a class and I would really like to have
music that plays during the entire presentation. I have figured out how to
apply a song to a single slide, but how do I keep the song from stopping when
I change slides?

As stated in the subject, I'm using PowerPoint '97.
