how do I add comments in an email

Using Outlook 2003 I was able to add comments to emails, but I have recently
upgraded to Outlook 2007 and cannot find the feature in it.

Open the message, ie double-click on it. At the top under "Edit" on the
toolbar, is there not an option to edit the message?
 
Open the message. Click the Other Actions command in the Actions group. Click the Edit Message command.
