How do I add a hyperlink to a protected form in Word?

I created a form in Word and need to have a hyperlinked email address in the
document. When I go in to protect the document, the section the hyperlink is
in gets protected, which kills the hyperlink, of course. How do I have both
in one document? Thanks!!!!
