How did I create this Watermark...?

Kenneth

Howdy,

I am using Word 2002 with XP...

I just opened a document that I created about six months
ago, and, as it should, each page has the word "DRAFT"
running diagonally across it from Upper-Left to Lower-Right.

When I click to view Headers & Footers, and then right click
the word "DRAFT" I see that it was created using WordArt.

The hitch is that I see no way in WordArt to create an text
entry that is oriented "Upper-Left to Lower-Right."

So, (and yes, I am serious about this) how did I do it?

Many thanks for any help,

Hi again,

Hi again,

It seems that I clicked too fast...

When I View Header & Footer on the existing document, I see
the green handle that allows for the rotation.

But when I try to create a new version of such a watermark,
no such handle appears.

What should I be doing to make this work properly?

Sincere thanks,

Hi again,

It seems that I had the WordArt wrapping with the text. With
that, it cannot rotate.

All the best,

You've pretty much answered your own question wrt creating the watermark "by
hand," but what you probably did in the first place was use Format |
Background | Printed Watermark.
