Well, you could always
Reformat, fresh install - without network connected.
Enable built-in firewall.
Plug in the network and visit Windows Update until
it has no more to offer.
Install antivirus software (and a trojan scanner) and
keep them up-to-date
Never turn off the firewall
Short of that, you need to assess how what is happening
is getting done. From this you get a clue as to how your
system may or may not have been compromised. And then,
if it is determined it has been penetrated you will be faced
with the question whether you should start at the top of this
with a fresh install.
It may be a very simple trick due to your lack of firewall,
having messenger service running , etc.
