How could I use the Flag for a Follow Up Reminder at sent Items?

cannot find a way to have an item in my Sent Items list to be flagged. It
will let me flag it & set a reminder date & time, but it does NOT actually
pop up a reminder? it only fire in specific default folders...

You need a 3rd party addin to add the reminder functionality to other
folders. See http://www.slovaktech.com for two such addins.
