Once you buy Adobe Acrobat (not the reader) Distiller and Writer will appear as printers (printer drivers). Just open Word, Open you document select Print and run the Distiller or the Writer....thats it.

Except of course Adobe Acrobat is not free.

You Need to have Adobe Acrobat... or other PDF maker.
Look here http://www.pdf995.com/

Open the document in Word and then Print (you are printing to a file) Using
the PDF Printer.

Don, thank you SO much for this tip. I just downloaded the software and
I LOVE it already. I don't have a tremendous need for PDF files, but do
so occasionally. This application is PERFECT...and free!!

Glad you liked it.

You need the Adobe software (retail product, not free), or another product that
converts word docs to PDF. The "free" ones may place a water mark or some
advertising in the resulting document.

Also, Adobe has an online converting pdf service, you can try it free for 5
documents, but then you pay a subscription then on.

Otherwise pay an arm and a leg for Adobe Acrobat 6.0!

Or just type in cutepdf.com :)

Yes, this is a great proggy. I've been distributing it in our organization
for all the general PDF-generation work.
