Hi,

Start/run gpedit.msc

Expand User Config/Admin Templates/Windows Components/Windows Update

Hi K. Larsen,

Go to Run > gpedit.msc

Select user settings > administrative templates > System; check on the
right pane: Automatic Windows Update. Right click and choose
properties, there's a tab explaining how to modify it. This should be
either not configured or disabled in order to allow updates.

You should also check: User settings > Administrative templates >
Start menu and taskbar > 'Remove all access to Windows Update,' it
should be 'Not configured' or 'disabled.'

Hope this helps.
