How can you include meeting request in email body?

How can one create a meeting request and include as a hyperlink in the email
body. For example......Join us tomorrrow for a brief intro. Click on OPEN and
then click save and close option to display this meeting on your calender.
 
You would need a web site to host the .ics or .vcs file that the "Click on OPEN" URL was linking to.

Thanks, so this feature is npot available in outlook itself.

Can this be done using word by any chance or is there any other alternative
if one does not have a website.
 
If you want a link, that means the recipient must have access to the shared content, which usually means a web site. If this is for internal use, it could also be a link to a file on a shared network drive.

Alternatively, just attach the .ics or .vcs file.

Couldn't they also Insert Item and put the meeting in?
