i am building a personnal webpage using frontpage 2003. How can i insert a
file for someone viewing the site to download?

Just import the file into your web and create a link to it, like you would create a link to a page.

On (almost) that subject.

I have been able to link to my downloadable zip file without any problem,
but...

I would like to present a viewer with a zip graphic instead of a text like
xxxx.zip. Is this possible, and if so how??

I have searched the internet for an answer but I think I have been using the
wrong question as I can't find an answer!

Kind regards,

Tim.

What is a "zip graphic" ? Do you mean linking to an image that in turn links to the .zip file?

Thank you for your answers but I obviously didn't ask the right question
again!

I can find the winzip_icon.gif no problem, my problem is how do my users
download the zipped file when they click on the gif??

There, I did it!! (I hope!)

Kind regards,

Tim.

Link the GIF image to the zipped file, by selecting and right clicking the GIF image and selecting
hyperlink properties, and then browse to the zipped file.
