How can Outlook Auto-Delete Sent mail?

Under Tools, Options, I unchecked 'save copy of Sent mail.' But, Outlook
still has weeks worth of mail in the Sent folder. Today, I right clicked the
sent folder, Properties... the best option is for Archive to Automatically
Delete, however, the lowest date is One day. I browsed through Rules, and
didn't see anything that looked right. I don't want Sent mail saved at all.
Is there a way?

Sue,

Thanks for responding. I uncheck the | Save Sent Copies box, but the mail
is still there. It's been unchecked since I installed the system in August.
I tried the Archive thing a couple of weeks ago, but even that doesn't delete
them.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Then open the folder, select all the messages with CTRL-A and press Delete.
All the old sent items will be gone.

Bill,

Thank you. I do this. However, several of my managers are still trying to
find the 'any' key. I was hoping for an automated process to ensure
sensitive information isn't compromised.

I don't know of any automated way.
