How can I verify my server info in my account properties?

I recently sent an auto response to an email I received but for some reason
it would not go through. Now whenever I try to send/receive I receive the
following error message: Sending reported error (0x800CCCOD): Unable to
find the email server. Please verify the server information in your account
properties.

Can someone please help me figure out how to delete the auto reply so I will
not receive the error message anymore?
