How can I use access to fill out forms in excel and word ?

Does anyone possibly have training materials around coding something like
this or is the process relatively easy? Any help you could provide would be
appreciated.

Wouldn't it be easier to use VBA inside the Excel and Word documents? What
is this doing in an Access newsgroup?
