How can I Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 in Vista Home Premium

In XP you used to be able to go to the Add/Remove Programs button and
uninstall IE7. In Vista - when you go to Control Panel - Uninstall programs -
IE7 is no where to be found.

Hi,

You could only install IE7 in XP because it was an upgrade to the supplied
verions, IE6. You could not uninstall IE6, you could only have references to
it removed. The program remained as it is integrated into the operating
system. In Vista, the supplied version is IE7 and it cannot be removed any
more than IE6 good be removed from XP.

If you don't like using IE 7 in Vista and prefer an alternative browser such
as FireFox or Opera, you can change the defaults by opening Default Programs
(Start Menu) > click the Set program access and computer defaults link >
Continue > expand Custom > select Mozilla FireFox or Opera > click OK.
