How can I type Chinese for using Window XP Chinese

There should be an icon showing 'EN" on the left hand bottom of the screen. So that when I want to type Chinese, I can click "EN" and it will change to "CH". Do you know where I can find this icon?
 
Hi Anne,

Control Panel/Regional and Language options/Languages tab, click details.
The larguage bar options are on the settings tab.
