If someone wants a complete list of what applications are installed on his
computer, neither looking in Add/Remove Programs, nor in Start | Programs
(as someone else suggested) is a reliable way to do this. Although it's true
that *most* program installations create entries in both of these places,
not all do.
Someone else suggested Belarc Advisor. Although that produces such a list,
I'm not sure where Belarc finds its information, so I can't comment on
whether that's necessarily complete either.
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary
safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -Benjamin Franklin
Many people would rather die than think; in fact, most do. -Bertrand Russell
