How can I subst a drvive command in XP
Doesn't work in the autoexec.nt file in the XP envirnoment

Some place I read to put in in the 'startup group..

In win98 I have no problem... been search this XP and
can figure?

ie I need a Subst F: C:\

Is it even possible... How do the create a F: drive in a next work where
as a program works on the same drive letter for all work stations?

Thank you for the help...

Thanks BUT it does not work in the autoexec.bat like older OS.. We need
to find a more bootable..

SOme said Srtup file calles a BAT file will load the 32 bit process.. the
autoexec.nt only loads 16 bit operation... I am still learning

Stick it in a shortcut and stick the shortcut in the startup folder on Start - All Programs.

In win98 I would run the SUBST f: c:\ and my application runs on the
f: drive and across the network.. Other workstations mapped to the f: drive
and run the same exe file or application needed to be on same drive..

With XP subst in the autoexec.nt doesn't work..
How would one auto execute a BAT file... at boot time

In the STARTUP directory!!

but I can't find the add/edit instruction to do.... I can do so in
win98...

Thanks again

Just put your batch file or a shortcut to it in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
