How Can I Stop WLMD from Downloading All Messages?

I just downloaded the new beta and to my surprise i found it to be
downloading my messages from all folders like junk,drafts,sent items etc etc.
I want to configure it to download just from the inbox and nothing else...
please help,i also use yahoo and gmail with it.

It will download everything that is on the server and syncs local to server.
After the first sync with a MSN/Hotmail account, you can right click on each
folder and select how future synchronization should take place:
Don't synchronize
All message (default)
New messages only
Headers only

Also, future discussions on WLMD should be taken to the new newsgroup for WLMD:
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

newsgroup:
