How can I set up out of office response if using POP3 server?

I know that the guide says you can't set up OOA if you are using POP3 rather
than Microsoft Exchange Server, but I hope that there might be a way round
this. Any thoughts or ideas?

Your ISP might have that sort of service on their servers......

Thanks - hosting is via BT, who suggested I ask Microsoft - suspect left
hand/right hand syndrome at BT's end, hence the request for anyone who has
been round this particular obstacle course before!

Does BT have webmail? The option to set up an "out-of-Office" reply is often
in the Webmail options......
