how can i send html through outlook

It seems really simple, but i am trying to send a web page I created through
outlook as a newxletter. It contains absolute links to images on my
webserver, it is written in html. I am able to send it fine using certain
mail engines like hotmail, but when i copy/paste the html (as text) into the
outlook send box, I always recieve the text as is. I have tried the different
settings for how to format text in new mail, but nothing seems to work.

has anyone done this successfully? or seen this problem? or at least could
someone just provide a simple checklist of everything that needs to be in
place in order to have this function properly?
