I am making a movie using "Windows Movie Maker" and want to add a powerpoint
presentation to it. When I attempt to "Import to collection", the message
says:
file not supported. How can I save the Powerpoint presentation so can be
imported into Windows Movie Maker?

some one tell me that the ppt file can save as mpeg format but I don't
know it clearly. I use PPT2DVD to convert my presentation to solve
this problem. It can convert your presentations to AVI,WMV and MP4
formats, the site is you can download it is http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com.
I don't know if I can help you.

Because Windows Movie Maker only support video, audio and Pictures, it
can't accept PPT or PPTX files, although you can save your PowerPoint
as pictures, but every thing in the PowerPoint would lost, so for this
problem, I advice you convert PowerPoint presentation to video format
first!
And you can retain animations, transitions and audio track in the
PowerPoint.
This tool Acoolsoft PPT2Video Converter would help you!
