How can i retain order of favorites when exporting to new computer

Whenever I export my favorites to a new computer, they get reordered
alphabetically. How can I export favorites while retaining the order I am
used to?

If this can not be done in IE, is there another browser that will allow me
to retain the order when migrating to another computer? I don't want to have
to go through this problem again as i have thousands of bookmarks where i
need to arrange them by the order they were bookmarked or moved by me.

The order of the entries in the Favorites menu is controlled by the
registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder
You could try exporting this key to a .reg file on the source computer and
importing it on the target computer after importing the favorites. It amy
not work, but that's probably your best shot.
