How can I remove a corrupt data file folder from the folder list?

The data file has either been moved, deleted or renamed and I cannot now
remove the folder from the folder list. Can anyone help me?
 
The easiest way to get rid of duplicate sets of personal folders is to
create a new mail profile. Go to Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles.
