I WAS WORKING ON AN EXCEL DOCUMENT WHEN I FINISHED I SAVED NORMALLY. HOWEVER,
I USED THE SAME DOCUMENT FOR ADDITIONAL INPUT AND INSTEAD OF USING "SAVE AS",
I USED "SAVE" IS MY PREVIOUS DOCUMENT GONE FOR GOOD? HOW CAN I RECOVER IT?

If you didn't close the spreadsheet, try hitting the undue button to restore
the data?

As a practical matter, it's gone. If the original file contained very
valuable information or would be very expensive to reproduce, there are
fairly expensive ways to retrieve deleted files as long as their disk
sectors haven't been overridden. There are data recovery specialists
who can do this, but they charge a fair amount for their services. I
don't know any myself, so I can't recommend any. Google may be your
only hope in that regard.

Unless you're prepared to spend at least US$500 to recover your file,
it's gone. If you are prepared to pay that much or more, SHUT DOWN
IMMEDIATELY. The longer you use your PC, the greater the likelihood you
won't be able to recover the file.
