How can i recover my Lost Windows Data ?

Can u suggest me about the software available for recovering my lost
windows data. I am using Windows 2000 professional Edition.

one fine morning when I was working on my Destop and I installed a
gamming software and while installing it asked me to restart my
Desktop, but it never started again, Can anyone suggest me for which
software I shouls go to recover all my data's.

I have researched on Internet And I found a list of software which
quarantess a list of Data Recovery Software(i.e www.stellarinfo.com and
many other's). Plz guide me for which software I should go ...

You wrote "it never started again", but didn't provide much helpful
information. Is the PC dead, or maybe it can't "see" the hard disk,
or it says invalid partition, or it starts to boot windows but gives
an error message, etc...

For all anybody knows, your disk drive could be fine and you would be
throwing money away on recovery services. Maybe your registry is
mucked up.

I'd contact the software vendor for software you purchased and see
what the installer might have messed with. maybe it is unfortunate
coincidence problem happened after installing their software, or maybe
your problem is a memory chip decided to die.

David, it wasn't a question, it was an blatant advert for Stellarinfo.
