how can i read an access document in a mac

i have a big access document on a zip disk that was created on a PC. I want
to read it on a mac machine that does not have the program. how can i do
that?

There is no version (that I know of) of Access for the Mac. However, I
think that there are various Windows Emulators for the Mac, that when you
run them, they simulate the Windows OS running on the Mac, and then you
could install Microsoft Access for Windows in your emulated Windows
environment.

You can check www.vmware.com to see if they have a version of one of their
products for the Mac.

An installation of VMWare makes a window that simulates the hardware of a
computer, that you would then "boot" and install Windows and Access. I have
successfully used this technique to run Linux inside Windows.
