How can I open an XP Database in 2000

I have created a database in XP for my job however I forgot that my work is
using 2000 and so it does not like the file format.
Is there any way I can get around this without adding on Xp or above.
 
You will need to save the XP database into 2000 format (it is likely in
2002-2003 format, which is why you can't open it). In Office XP, with the
database open, go to Tools -> Options -> Database Utilities -> Covert
Database and choose "To Access 2000 File Format." This will make a 2000
versioned database which should open in Office 2000.
