How can I make a reminder pop up in the foreground?

When a reminders pops up I can see the flashing orange icon on the windows
desktop tool bar, but I have to minimize several applications to see the
reminder. I want to know if there is a way to make the reminder pop up as
the active window.

The default behaviour IS to pop up in the foreground. Do you have any add ins
or coms running that might prevent this from happening, such as Plaxo?

I shouldn't have any add ins installed that would affect this. Is there a way
to check the default settings on that? One thing that I did do that appears
to have fixed it for the time being is...I turned the notifications off in:
Tools\Options\Other\Advanced Options\Reminder Options...\
I closed outlook and then reopened. Then turned notifications back on. If
you have any other options to check, please let me know.

Plaxo is a known culprit for this behavior.
