How can i make a .mpg MPEG?

Any idea's how i can save my movie as an .mpeg / .mpg?

Is it as simple as downloading a codec similar to divX?

Or is it more complicated, such as exporting as an .avi
and use another program to do the conversion?

Hi, Do you mean in Windows Movie Maker. You need to save it as DV-AVI then
use third party software to convert to MPEG.

I was aware that i would have to use third-party software, can anyone suggest a suitable program to convert to a MPEG? I have heard something about divX, not sure if this is suitable?
