How can I keep my font sizes from changing in Powerpoint?

On any slide, I might change a particular font size. I save the ppt. and it
looks correct for the duration I am working with the file. However, when I
close the file and reopen it, the font reverts back to the original Master
Slide default font size.

This also holds true when I am adding more text on a particular slide and
Powerpoint automatically resizes my font to fit on the slide. Again, after
saving it and reopening the file the font defaults back to the larger default
font size. So, what good is it if Powerpoint resizes everything back to the
default font setting?

Help!

I am having the same issue on some slides in a presentation. If I figure it
out I'll post something back here. Good Luck!

Hey Curt,

FYI: It turns out that I had another conflicting Master Slide layout, once I
deleted it my changes did not revert. Problem solved-

Has anyone solved this problem? I am working on an important Powerpoint
file, and I can't get the master pages to quit resizing my font sizes.
I have 2 placeholder boxes for a title and text box, but i have 2 other
text boxes that I want to remain static on the "normal" slide views.
This was all working fine yesterday, but today I opened my file and
now, if I resize one font size in the master slide, all 3 text boxes
switch to that same size. So they're either all 18 pt black text or 60
pt white text. I am really frustrated by this. I'm using Powerpoint
2003. Help files are no help at all. I'm not sure what is meant by
conflicting master slides?
Please help!
Danielle
