how can i keep my desktop alert showing until i cancel it

i am often away from my desk for a few minutes. the desktop alert is set at
its max time "on". is there a way to increase its display time to remain
until i cancel it?

approx 50 days isn't long enough?

Edit this key (outlook 2007, change the 12 to 11 for 2003)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\DesktopAlerts\TimeOn
max value you can use is 4294967295 milliseconds (if my math is right,
43200000 = 12 hours)
