How can I import my AutoText and AutoCorrect entries from a previous
version of Word? (Still active on another harddrive)

Please put your question in the message portion of the post. The subject
line has a display limit, at least on my machine. A good subject line here
would have been "import AutoText and AutoCorrect"

See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step
instructions on moving / sharing / copying customizations including
AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, macros, etc. This includes a
link to the MVP utility for copying AutoCorrect entries.

Word comes with a template called Macros8.dot

Open this, making sure the securoty settings are at most
Medium (Tools/Macros/Security). It has an Autocorrect
utility. Run it on the first PC and choose BACKUP and it
will create a document with the autocorrect entries. Run
it on the second PC, and choose Restore, and when prompted
choose the backed up document. This will replace
Autocorrect with entries from the first PC.

Use the utility from the MVP site instead. It is more thorough.
