How can I hide the recipient list that I am sending to multiple email
addresses so that others don't see all of the addresses?
 
either make a distribution group, or add them all to the bcc field.

By itself, that won't work because Outlook expands the DL prior to
transmitting the message. Whether or not a DL is used, the Bcc field should
be used.
