how can i hidden the formula(excel) in cell when i click on it so.

i have for example this formula in cell (=text(datevalue,"dddd"))--so when i
enter date it will give the day
the question that when i click on this cell it will appear in the formula
bar the equation i use it,i want to keep the data but when click in the
formula bar it will appear only the value wihout the formula ,
there is a way but i forget it.

Hi

Select cells where you want to hide formulas. Select Format.Cells.Protection
from menu/right-click dropdown, and check 'Hidden', OK. Protect the
worksheet.

Before this be sure, that for all cells users are allowed to edit, on
Format.Cells.Protection tab'Locked' is unchecked!

And after the sheet is protected, in formula bar nothing is displayed for
cells set to Hidden - not formulas, not values. This is the way Excel does
behave.
