how can I have Outlook 2003 use default e-mail account when reply.

Hi

I have several accounts setup in Outlook 2003. The first listed account is
the default for sending e-mail and this works fine when I create a NEW e-mail.

However, when I RESPOND to e-mails I have received, then the account used to
send my response is the account that received the e-mail. I want the default
account for sending e-mails to be the same regardless of whether it is a new
e-mail or not (I have multiple e-mail addresses on multiple domains being
forwarded to a couple of "collection" e-mail accounts that I then download
with Outlook 2003).

Anybody know how I can fix this?

The default behavior is for Outlook to respond using the mail account in
which the mail was received. This cannot be changed. You will need to
manually select the sending account when responding to email sent via a
different account.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
