I want to manage my tasks but cannot work out how to list them in sequence,
or group them together such as by creating sub-tasks. Can anyone help?

You can't create sub-tasks. What version of Outlook do you use? What kind of
sequence is it you wish?

Outlook 2003- a number of tasks which form part of a larger whole some but
not all of which need to be completed prior to later tasks.

I think you'd need an add-in like Franklin Covey to do what you wish. The
task options in Outlook are pretty limited - good enough for most people,
but don't allow for dependencies, etc.
