How can I go straight to Slide Show View on opening a PP 2002 file

(1)
At this stage I'm trying to get my PowerPoint file, (located on the
desktop), to open immediately in Slide Show View.
Any ideas please on how I could do this (simply).
(2)
Next I will save the file as a web page, with a hyperlink to it on my web
site home page - its from there that I really want it to open immediately in
slide show view.
Any ideas here also please?

I thought that in achieving (1), it would carry over into (2), when I saved
(1) as a web page.

Peter,
(1) save your show as a pps, in the file save as list choose *.pps
(Powerpoint show); or simply rename your ppt file to pps.
(2) don't know about that one, but I am sure somebody else will.

I'll give it a try. Not sure why the menu options don't allow this as you
select view options...go figure...make something easy!

It is under the 'Save As ...' options, but there are so many options, that
you will need to scroll down the 'save as' type selections.

Flexibility beget options -- options beget choices -- choices beget menus
(except in PPT 2007).
