treating people of idiot.
First of all, Kurt is one of the good guys, and even though he's kinda
like Boraxo sometimes, if you can see beyond his slightly abrasive
qualities, he has a point. Or more.
In this case, the point is twofold: a) you violated an old, old usenet
rule that says you should lurk first, until you have a 'feel' for the
community, and b) you failed to realize that a lot of the problems
addressed in this group are the result of bad people doing bad things to
computers that do not belong to them.
I don't believe you're a bad guy--I'm pretty sure you just want to
help--but when you come on like gangbusters in a group where no one
knows you, you have to expect that one of the regulars (which I am not,
btw--I'm very much a newbie here) is going to call you on it.
So chill a little, eh? If you just continue to post and your posts are
good ones, then eventually this early conflict will fade away to
nothing. If you let it.
As for the language issue--you don't write like a Haitian, you write the
way a teenager from Miami speaks to his peers. (I'm in New Jersey now,
but I lived in DeLand--right down the road from Daytona--from about '99
until a month ago, so it's not entirely unfamiliar.) I hear my daughter
(who is 21) do this all the time, but she doesn't talk to me that way,
and you shouldn't be writing to anyone here that way. It gives a bad
impression of who you are.

Now can you please just let this argument go?
