I am wanting to use a database which was written in access 97 to work with
windows xp and I think Office 2002. It tells me this is not compatible. Is
there anything I can do to allow this to work?

Usually there aren't problems upgrading from Access 97. Simply open a copy
of the database with whatever version of Access you have loaded, and let it
convert. Once you've done that, go into the VB Editor and compile the
applications (it's on the Debug menu). That should identify any problems
that might exist. If there are any, post back here, and hopefully someone
will be able to help you.

Well the data will all come though OK, but some of the VBA, forms etc,
may have problems.
