I need to know how to export a contact list to Microsoft Excel. Can someone

File>Import and Export>Export to a file. Choose "Comma Separated Values
(Windows)" or "Microsoft Excel". If you don't have those choices, then use
your Office install CD to install the Importers and Exporters feature.
 
File | Import and Export | Export to a File...choose Excel format.
