How can I edit FrontPage using word x 2

I needed to provide further detail from my previous post. I am the
Technology Coordinator at an elementary school. I want to create
pages on our school website for all my teachers that they can list daily
homework on. We use frontpage 2000 to manage the website. I have
been told that it is possible to open up a webpage in word, enter a user
name and password, and then edit the webpage and save the changes.
I do not want the teachers to have to use FrontPage to access their
webpage. Is it possible for them to access their page in word and make
changes???? If so, what settings do I need to enable in FrontPage and
Word. Right now when I open up a webpage in Word it opens it as read
only.

Sounds like you really want some kind of basic CMS system (content management system). Chris Leeds is working on a really simple one, chris is an MVP on this ng.

His is called Content Seed. There are a few others that I've experimented with...most of them are too expensive, too complicated, or very difficult to get working. Content Seed is easy and would probably solve your problem...dunno if Chris is finished with it yet.

Barring a content management system, you could probably do
an Access database where the teacher pulls up and modifies
his own last entry.
